Brazilian Reading Preferences in Goodreads: Cross-state and Cross-region Analyses

As a multicultural and ethnically diverse nation, Brazil has singular cultural identities in accents, gastronomy traditions, also reflected its literature. Here, we model multipartite network to perform cross-state comparison analyses based on the cosine distance for Brazilian reading preferences. We explore impact of relationships between geographic, socioeconomic, demographic factors both shared books literary genres across states. Finally, extract backbone networks identify clusters each macro-regions. Such highlight country’s rich diversity, where region shows own identity.
